What’s Next?

Expect an email from me soon requesting a deposit for your session. I require a $75 deposit that goes towards the overall cost of your session to reserve your spot. Once I have the deposit I’ll send you your schedule about a month before your session so you know when and where to be on the day of your session!

Styling Tips

Curly/Wavy hair photographs better than straight hair

If we’re shooting in a field don’t worry about your shoes you won’t really see them

Summer evenings aren’t as hot as you think

It’s okay to sweat a little you won’t be able to tell in the photos

I can make you less tan but I can’t make you more tan so just get the fake tan

A simple white button down for guys goes a long way

Spring/Summer

Fall/Winter

Colors that don’t photograph well

Weather Disclaimer:

If any of these conditions exist during your schedule session time, your session is subject to be rescheduled. Sorry for the inconvenience but don’t worry, it makes me just as sad to reschedule and we will be able to work together to find a new date. Please keep this in mind and remain flexible.

  • If wind speeds are 13mph or more

    • The reason for this is because if we can’t get your hair to stay on your head it will be nearly impossible to capture solid photos. The main reason I don’t like shooting on windy days is because it can get real annoying real quick. Nothing is worse than trying to take photos frustrated and not feeling your best.

  • Temperature is below 50 degrees

    • After about 50 degrees your skin likes to get blotchy and red, especially your nose. Plus it’s just miserable.

  • Rain, sleet, or snow

    • Unless you’re going for the wet dog look I would highly recommend not shooting in this type of weather.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.
